Message from the Pastor
Grace and peace be to you from God, our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Mission Statement of United Evangelical Lutheran Church says we are: "To be Christ's servants, unified in mind, heart, and spirit, as we proclaim the Good News of Salvation to all people."
We are deeply appreciative for each person who comes to help us celebrate and give thanks to God for His many blessings.
God wants His people to have one heart, one spirit, one vision; connecting people to Jesus. When we act and speak as Jesus has taught us, our hearts become united to Him through the gift of faith. Through this faith we can, and will, continue proclaiming His saving message. This is not the time to be content and comfortable with being a church without windows; reaching out to no one. These changing times present many challenges and opportunities for service outside our walls.
Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." That message, which is at the heart of the mission, has not, and will never change. God gave us a story to tell and together, we must be about the business of telling of Jesus' love. We must not be deterred from telling the story about how Jesus suffered, was dead and buried and God raised Him from the dead, so that you and I might have forgiveness of Sin, Life, and Salvation.
God Bless You!
