Our Vision
"Christ accepted you, so you should accept each other, which brings glory to God”(Romans 15:7)
Our vision is to further activate our mission "to be Christ's servants, unified in mind, heart, and spirit, as we proclaim the Good News of Salvation to all people." The first step in accomplishing this vision is to realize that no matter how small our numbers, we can grow in Christ, if we “Embrace One Another."
We can all share in the love of God, who loves and makes each individual His child. Each one is my neighbor, my brother, or sister. This means we should accept who God accepts.
Fulfilling the vision, then, is to continue to “Embrace One Another” within the household of faith, while at the same time reaching out to “Embrace the Community." We seek to build partnerships with those around us for the common purpose of bettering the community and connecting people to Jesus.” We welcome everyone, with open arms, into the household of faith.
Pentecost Day is known as the beginning of the Christian Church and 3,000 souls were added to the church that day. The Holy Spirit lives in us, as He did in those 120 at Pentecost, and will strengthen us to do God’s work. Through His Spirit we will strive to thrive, and reach the horizons that God has prepared for, and set before us. He has supplied us with the tools we need to realize our vision, particularly, the assurance that he gave us in His Greatest Gift, Jesus Christ.
